Accessibility Policy

Effective Date: October 15, 2026 Version: 1.0 Applies to: All persons who access or use the Platform, and all Sellers and providers who publish content through the Platform.

Article 1: Introduction and Scope

1.1 This document states the accessibility standard the Company maintains for the Platform, the duties of the Company, Sellers, and other content providers under that standard, and the procedure by which a barrier is reported, classified, and remediated. The Company operates the Site as a place of public accommodation under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. § 12181 et seq., and applicable state and local accessibility law, and the Company treats conformance with this document as a legal obligation, not a product preference.

1.2 An accessibility defect is a compliance defect requiring remediation under Article 7, not a feature request. This document is incorporated into the Terms of Use. If a provision of this document conflicts with the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use controls for general Platform matters and this document controls for accessibility standards and requirements. If a provision of this document conflicts with the terms of a program in which a party participates, the program terms control for that program. Policies and help pages explain this document; they do not amend it, and in any conflict this document prevails, except as the preceding sentences provide.

Article 2: Definitions

2.1 In this document Account: the account a person or business establishes with the Company to use the Platform.

Assistive Technology: a tool a person with a disability uses to access digital content, including a screen reader, voice control software, a switch device, and screen magnification software.

Barrier: a feature, content item, or defect that prevents or impairs access to the Platform by a person using Assistive Technology or an alternative input method.

Company: All About Pawz, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company.

Platform: the websites, applications, and services the Company operates under the name All About Pawz, including aapawz.com.

Seller: a person or business the Company has accepted to offer Products or Services through the Platform.

Site: aapawz.com and its subdomains.

User: any person who accesses or uses the Platform, whether or not the person holds an Account.

WCAG: the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

Article 3: The Governing Standard

3.1 The Company adopts WCAG version 2.1, Level AA conformance as the operative technical standard for every surface of the Site. New development, modifications, and deployments shall conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Non-conformance is a defect.

3.2 The standard applies to: (a) the consumer storefront, including search, navigation, Product pages, and checkout; (b) customer Account surfaces, including Order history, subscription management, and profile settings; (c) Seller Center, including listing management, fulfillment, and performance surfaces; (d) veterinary tele-triage and service booking interfaces; (e) mobile applications operated by the Company; and (f) every checkout and payment flow.

3.3 The Company measures conformance against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria using automated testing tools and manual testing with Assistive Technologies. Automated testing alone does not establish conformance.

Article 4: Requirements

4.1 Keyboard access. Every interactive element shall be reachable and operable by keyboard input alone, in a logical and predictable order. No element shall trap keyboard focus. Focus management in dynamic content, including modals, menus, and expandable sections, shall preserve keyboard operability.

4.2 Focus visibility. The focused element shall be visually indicated by a focus indicator that meets the applicable contrast requirements. A focus indicator that disappears or becomes invisible is a defect.

4.3 Text alternatives. Non-text content that conveys information: including Product images, icons with meaning, charts, graphs, and instructional graphics: shall carry a text alternative that conveys equivalent information. Decorative content shall be marked as decorative so that Assistive Technology skips it. A text alternative shall be accurate, descriptive, and appropriate to its context.

4.4 Color and contrast. Text and interactive elements shall meet the minimum contrast requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and information shall not be conveyed by color alone.

4.5 Forms, labels, and errors. Every form field shall carry a label programmatically associated with the field. Placeholder text alone is not a label. An error message shall identify the field in error and describe the correction required, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria 3.3.1 and 3.3.3.

4.6 Resize and reflow. Content shall remain usable and functional when enlarged to 200 percent without requiring horizontal scrolling, except for content that inherently requires a two-dimensional presentation, such as a map or a data table. Text and controls shall reflow at increased zoom without loss of content or function.

Article 5: Checkout and Critical Paths

5.1 The checkout flow: cart review, shipping address entry, payment information entry, Order review, and purchase confirmation: is a critical path and receives the highest level of accessibility scrutiny. An inaccessible checkout denies the transaction itself and is a Critical defect under Article 7.

5.2 Critical checkout defects include a payment field that keyboard input cannot reach, an error message that a screen reader does not announce, a form label that is missing or improperly associated, and a focus management failure in a multi-step checkout flow.

5.3 Before deployment, a checkout flow shall be tested with current versions of multiple screen readers, with keyboard-only navigation, and with switch-device simulation. Automated testing alone is not sufficient for a checkout flow.

Article 6: Assistive Technology Compatibility

6.1 The Company tests the Site for compatibility with commonly used Assistive Technologies, including current versions of NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack screen readers; voice control software, including Dragon NaturallySpeaking and operating-system voice control; switch devices and alternative input methods; and screen magnification software, including ZoomText and operating-system magnification.

6.2 Compatibility testing means testing with actual Assistive Technology operated by a person familiar with that technology. Incompatibility with a commonly used Assistive Technology is a defect under Article 7. The Company does not treat a direction that Users upgrade their software, or a statement that an Assistive Technology is unsupported, as a defense to an accessibility failure.

Article 7: Reporting, Classification, and Remediation

7.1 Reporting. A User may report a Barrier to support@aapawz.com. A report states, where the User can provide it: the address or screen where the Barrier was encountered, the Assistive Technology and version used, a description of the Barrier, and the expected behavior.

7.2 Acknowledgment and classification. The Company shall acknowledge receipt of a report within five (5) business days and shall provide the confirmed severity classification and the remediation timeline within ten (10) business days of confirmation.

7.3 Severity and remediation timelines. The Company classifies a confirmed Barrier as follows and shall remediate within the corresponding period (a) Critical: a Barrier that blocks access to checkout, Account management, payment processing, or a required legal disclosure. The Company remediates a Critical defect on an emergency track, with deployment within seventy-two (72) hours of confirmation.

(b) High: a Barrier that blocks access to a significant flow, including search, a Product page, subscription management, or Order history. The Company remediates a High defect in the next release cycle, not to exceed fourteen (14) days.

(c) Medium: a degradation that impairs but does not block access, including a missing text alternative on a non-critical image, a suboptimal focus order, or a contrast failure on a non-essential element. The Company records a Medium defect in its development backlog and tracks it to resolution.

(d) Low: a conformance failure that does not materially impair access, including a decorative image missing a text alternative or a minor focus indicator deficiency. The Company addresses a Low defect in a routine maintenance cycle.

7.4 Reporter notice. The Company shall notify the reporter of the confirmed severity classification and the remediation timeline. A reporter is not entitled to a detailed technical explanation of the defect.

7.5 Verification. The Company shall verify a remediation with the Assistive Technology and use case that identified the original Barrier before closing the defect. A remediation that passes automated testing but fails in actual Assistive Technology use is not a remediation.

Article 8: Content Provided by Sellers and Third Parties

8.1 The Company is responsible for the accessibility of its templates, components, and flows. A Seller is responsible for the accessibility of the content the Seller provides within those templates, including: (a) the readability and structure of listing text; (b) text alternatives for Product images where the Platform provides a text-alternative field; (c) captions and transcripts for video content the Seller uploads; and (d) accessible formatting of Product descriptions and specifications.

8.2 A missing text alternative for a Product image does not block publication of the listing. A listing without text alternatives receives a reduced quality score in search ranking and recommendation. A Seller who repeatedly fails to provide text alternatives, who uploads video content without captions, or who embeds inaccessible third-party content is subject to enforcement under Article 12 and the Selling Terms of Service, including suppression of the listing.

8.3 The Company vets a third-party embed, widget, or component for accessibility before adopting it. Where a third-party component introduces a Barrier, the Company shall remediate, replace, or remove the component. That a vendor supplied an inaccessible component is not a defense to the Company's obligations under this document.

8.4 Where a Seller embeds third-party content through a mechanism the Platform provides, the Seller is responsible for the accessibility of that embedded content and shall disclose the embed where the mechanism requires disclosure. A Seller who inserts third-party code without the Company's authorization bears sole responsibility for the compliance of that code.

Article 9: Scope of Obligation

9.1 Accessibility requirements are stated in this document and measured against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. No accessibility obligation arises under this document beyond what this document states or applicable law requires. The Company takes no enforcement measure under this document without a documented conformance failure.

Article 10: Liability

10.1 Exclusion of certain damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to this document, even if the party has been advised of the possibility of those damages.

10.2 Cap. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability arising out of or relating to this document shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts the User paid to the Company under this document in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

10.3 Carve-outs. This article does not limit (a) a party's indemnification obligations under this document; (b) liability for fraud or willful misconduct; (c) amounts a party owes for Orders, fees, chargebacks, or refunds under this document; or (d) liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10.4 Essential purpose. The parties agree that this article allocates risk between them, that it is an essential part of the basis of their bargain, and that it applies even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Article 11: Indemnification

11.1 Duty. The User shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against every claim, demand, action, loss, liability, judgment, settlement, cost, and expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) the User's breach of this document; (b) content the User publishes through the Platform that fails to meet Article 8; and (c) the User's violation of any law or of the rights of any person.

11.2 Procedure. The Company shall give prompt written notice of a claim under this article. The User shall control the defense with counsel reasonably acceptable to the Company. The Company may participate in the defense at its own expense. The User shall not settle a claim in a manner that imposes any obligation or restriction on the Company, or that does not release the Company fully, without the Company's prior written consent.

11.3 Survival. This article survives the termination of this document.

Article 12: Enforcement and Appeals

12.1 Investigation. The Company may investigate any suspected violation of this document. The User shall cooperate with an investigation and shall produce the records this document requires the User to keep.

12.2 Notice. If the Company determines that the User has violated this document, the Company shall give written notice stating the provision violated and the facts relied on, except where notice would compromise an investigation of fraud, a safety risk, or a legal obligation.

12.3 Opportunity to cure. Where a violation is capable of cure, the User has ten (10) business days from notice to cure it and to confirm the cure in writing. No cure period applies to fraud, counterfeiting, a risk to the safety of a person or an animal, unlawful conduct, or a violation that by its nature cannot be cured.

12.4 Measures. If a violation is established and is not cured within the period allowed, the Company may, proportionate to the violation: (a) issue a written warning; (b) remove or suppress a listing or content; (c) cancel an Order or a booking; (d) suspend the Account or a program participation, in whole or in part; (e) terminate this document and the Account; and (f) exercise any other right or remedy available under this document or at law.

12.5 Appeal. The User may appeal a measure under this article by written notice to legal@aapawz.com within thirty (30) days of the measure, stating the grounds and attaching the records relied on. The appeal is decided by a person who did not make the original decision. The Company's decision on appeal is final. A measure remains in effect during an appeal unless the Company directs otherwise in writing.

12.6 No waiver by delay. The Company's delay in acting on a violation is not a waiver of the violation or of any later violation of the same kind.

Article 13: Term and Termination

13.1 Term. This document takes effect when the User first accesses or uses the Platform and continues until terminated under this article.

13.2 Termination by the Company. The Company may terminate this document and the Account on thirty (30) days' written notice for any reason, and immediately on written notice if the User materially breaches this document, engages in fraud, or becomes ineligible to participate.

13.3 Termination by the User. The User may terminate this document on thirty (30) days' written notice to support@aapawz.com, or by closing the Account, provided the User has no Order, booking, or investigation outstanding.

13.4 Effect of termination. On termination: (a) the rights granted under this document end; (b) obligations that arose before termination: including payment, refund, chargeback, record-keeping, and indemnification obligations: survive until satisfied; and (c) the Company shall pay amounts owed, less amounts the Company may set off under this document, within thirty (30) days, except amounts held in connection with an open investigation or dispute.

13.5 Survival. The Definitions, Liability, Indemnification, Enforcement and Appeals (for measures taken before termination), Dispute Resolution, and General Provisions articles survive termination.

Article 14: Dispute Resolution

14.1 Any dispute arising out of or relating to this document, or to the relationship it governs, is governed by the Dispute Resolution Policy, which is incorporated into this document by reference.

Article 15: General Provisions

15.1 Amendments. The Company may amend this document by posting the amended document in the Document Center and giving notice to the User at the email address in the Account. An amendment that materially increases the User's fees or obligations takes effect thirty (30) days after notice; other amendments take effect on posting. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of an amendment is acceptance of it. If the User does not accept an amendment, the User's remedy is to terminate under Article 13 before the amendment takes effect.

15.2 Notices. Legal notices under this document shall be sent to legal@aapawz.com. Accessibility reports and all other operational communications shall be sent to support@aapawz.com. A notice to the Company is effective when the Company acknowledges receipt or, for email, one business day after sending, whichever is earlier. Notices to the User are effective when sent to the email address in the Account or posted to the Account's notice facility in the portal, whichever occurs first. The User shall keep the email address in the Account current. DMCA notices are given as provided in the DMCA and Copyright Policy, to the designated agent at legal@aapawz.com.

15.3 Governing law. This document is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the Dispute Resolution Policy, any proceeding arising out of this document shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Shelby County, Tennessee, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15.4 Severability. If any provision of this document is held unenforceable, the provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted, and the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

15.5 Entire agreement. This document, together with the documents it incorporates by reference, is the entire agreement between the Company and the User for the subject it governs and supersedes every prior or contemporaneous statement, communication, or agreement on that subject, whether written or oral.

15.6 Assignment. The User shall not assign this document or any right or obligation under it without the Company's prior written consent, and an assignment without consent is void. The Company may assign this document to an affiliate or in connection with a sale of all or part of its business, on notice to the User.

15.7 Waiver. A waiver of any provision of this document is effective only in writing and only for the instance stated. No waiver is a waiver of any other provision or instance.

15.8 Interpretation. Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation." This document shall not be construed against a party on the ground that the party prepared it. The English-language text controls over any translation.
