This page covers the pay page at /employee/pay: your pay profile, today's time clock entries, and this month's commission ledger. The page is a window, not a control panel: everything about what you are paid is set by your manager on your staff record and is read-only here, because pay changes go through a process with a record.
Your pay profile
The profile block reads directly from your staff record
- Pay type: one of Hourly, Salary, Commission, Salary + Commission, or Hourly + Commission.
- Hourly rate, or salary amount and period: whichever applies to your pay type.
- Commission rate: your percent of the service price, if you are on commission.
If a field shows "not set," that is the truth; the page never invents a number. A blank commission rate does not mean zero: it means nobody entered one, and those are very different things at payroll time. If your profile looks wrong (wrong rate, wrong pay type), tell your manager. This is exactly the kind of error to catch before payroll runs, not after.
Today's clock entries
Below the profile, the page shows today's time clock entries: the same data as the time clock widget, in the location's timezone. Use it to check your day against your pay at a glance: did this morning's clock-in actually register? If the morning entry is missing, see Shifts and the Time Clock: do not assume payroll will figure it out.
The commission ledger
The ledger shows this calendar month's commissions in two views.
The period summary shows four numbers: pending, approved, paid, and total: plus the entry count
- Pending: earned but not yet approved. It is money you have earned, but it has not cleared the approval step.
- Approved: cleared and queued.
- Paid: paid out.
If your pending number looks healthy but your paycheck did not, the gap is almost always in the approved-to-paid transition, which is your manager's or payroll's step, not yours.
The line items show every commission line: the date earned, the appointment number, the appointment's start time, the service name, the basis amount (what the percent was calculated on), your rate, the commission amount, and the line's status. This is your receipt. If a groom you did is not here
- Check that the appointment was actually completed, not left in an earlier status.
- Check the date. The ledger is monthly, and a groom completed on the 31st belongs to a different month than one completed on the 1st, regardless of what you think of as "this pay period."
What this page cannot tell you
It cannot tell you when pending becomes approved or approved becomes paid: those are business processes outside the portal. It cannot show you anyone else's numbers. And it cannot fix anything: if a line is missing or a rate is wrong, the fix is a conversation with your manager, who works the admin side. Come with specifics: appointment number, date, what you expected: because "my commission looks off" gives them nothing to investigate.
Warning
Your commission rate and pay details are your business and the Company's. Do not share them with coworkers and do not photograph the screen.
