This page covers the HR page at /employee/hr: the two profile fields you can edit, your documents, your training records, and your performance numbers. Think of it as your employee file: the parts you are allowed to see, and the one part you are allowed to edit.
What you can edit: phone and bio
The portal accepts exactly two fields from you: phone and bio. Everything else: pay fields, role, identity, hire date: is manager-owned, and the portal will not take changes to it from you.
Keep your phone current. It is how the business reaches you for shift changes and emergencies, and an out-of-date number has real consequences when someone is trying to fill a sick call at 6am. The bio is what shows where staff bios surface, such as meet-the-team pages; keep it professional and current.
If your name is misspelled, your role is wrong, or your hire date is off, that is a manager fix. Do not sit on it: employment records feed calculations such as tenure, and they should be right.
Documents
The documents section shows your file: offer letter, handbook acknowledgments, certifications, and whatever your location requires. Each row shows the name, type, status, upload date, and expiry where applicable.
- Check expiries. If a certification or document has an expiry date, it is your job to notice it coming up, not your manager's job to chase you. An expired certification can take you off the schedule.
- Do not assume a document exists because you handed it in. Paper handed to a manager and a document in your file are different things. If you gave someone your updated certification weeks ago and it is not here, follow up. The portal is the record.
One limitation to know: document links resolve only when the stored path is already a full URL. Some documents show a name, type, and status with no link. If you see a document with no link, ask your manager for the file directly.
Training records
Your training history lives here: what you took, its status, when you completed it, when it expires, and the certificate where one exists. Apply the same discipline as documents: watch the expiries, and do not assume a class you attended made it into the record. If you completed required training and it is not here, close the gap the same week: "I took the class" without a record is a hard position to defend if compliance ever asks.
What training is required, and how often refreshers happen, is governed by the Training & Certification policy (Training and Certification Policy). The portal shows your record against those requirements; it does not set them.
Performance
The performance block shows this month's numbers from the real records: appointments completed, total appointments, what is in service right now, hours clocked, commission pending, and commission paid. It is the same data your manager sees, which is the point: no surprises in either direction. If your completed-appointment count looks low, check whether appointments were actually moved to completed status rather than left in an earlier state; see Working Your Appointments. The numbers only know what the statuses say.
What is not here
Write-ups, disciplinary records, and manager notes about you do not surface in the employee portal, by design. This page is the shared surface of your employment record. Everything else lives on the manager side, under the internal policies. Your own and others' HR information is handled under the Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure policy (Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Policy). What happens to access and records when employment ends is governed by the Termination & Offboarding policy (Termination and Offboarding Policy).
