Franchise Program Overview

This page gives an overview of the All About Pawz franchise program: the franchise model, what a franchise includes, how territory works, and how program economics are set. This page summarizes the Franchise Program Policy, which governs.

Notice

The Franchise Disclosure Document controls the offer and sale of franchises. No statement in this page or in any portal content makes an earnings representation. Have your own counsel review the Franchise Disclosure Document before you sign. Where the franchise law of the state in which the franchised business is located gives the franchisee greater rights, that law prevails to the extent of any conflict.

The franchise model

A franchise is a business unit on the Platform, parented to the All About Pawz master business. Your business runs on the same Platform and the same commerce systems as Company locations, with your data scoped to your franchise.

In practice

  • Your storefront and portals are yours. Your customers see your business name, your location, and your branding within the Platform's design system. Your web address is chosen at signup and must be unique across the Platform; a conflicting address is rejected at creation.
  • Your data is yours. Staff, customers, appointments, and sales are scoped to your franchise. Another franchisee cannot see them, and marketplace sellers cannot see them.
  • Oversight runs through the parent relationship. The master business sees what it needs for royalties, compliance, and brand standards through that relationship.
  • The Platform's rules still apply. The franchise agreement adds to the Platform's policies; it does not replace them. Consumer protection, data handling, and payment rules bind you as they bind every participant.

Franchise sales are regulated, including disclosure requirements under the FTC Franchise Rule and state franchise registration where applicable. That framework is stated in the Franchise Program Policy, which governs.

What the franchise includes

  • The operating platform. Booking, point of sale, customer records, inventory, and reporting: the same systems Company locations run, provisioned for your franchise.
  • The brand. All About Pawz branding, signage standards, and marketing assets, governed by the Franchise Brand Standards Policy.
  • Training. Initial training for you and your team, plus ongoing education through the learning portal, governed by the Franchise Training Policy.
  • Supply and catalog access. Access to the enterprise catalog and supplier supply, so your location can stock products from opening.
  • Territory. A defined territory, as described below.

The agreement itself is governed by the Franchise Agreement Policy, which governs.

Territory

Your franchise agreement defines your territory: the geographic area where you are the All About Pawz presence. Territory is governed by the Franchise Territory Policy, which governs, covering

  • What is protected, including that no other franchise is granted in your territory.
  • What is reserved, including online sales and national accounts, which typically remain Platform-level.
  • Your right of first refusal on additional units nearby, where the agreement provides one.

Warning

The map attached to your signed agreement is your territory. Do not rely on a map in marketing material, which may differ. Read the territory exhibit in the agreement carefully before you sign.

Program economics

The franchise program's economics: the initial fee, the royalty rate and how gross sales is defined, the marketing fund contribution, and transfer and renewal fees: are stated in your franchise agreement and governed by the Franchise Fees & Royalties Policy and the Franchise Marketing Fund Policy, which govern.

The mechanics of how royalties are calculated and reported, how the fund is held separately and reported, and what happens on non-payment are stated in those documents and in Franchise Operations, Reporting and Royalties. The figures themselves are commercial terms of the individual agreement.

Warning

Do not rely on any figure quoted outside your signed agreement. If a figure is not in the agreement, it is not part of your arrangement.

Eligibility and approval are governed by the Franchise Eligibility & Approval Policy. Onboarding steps are covered in Franchise Onboarding.
